"You really must love what you are doing because
the more you love it and the more you are visibly loving it,
more miserable people (of which there are quite a few)
will resent you for it.
Why," you might ask. Very simply, the ones who
feel that way have bought into the lie that happiness is
not accessible to them.
Even while you are trying to give them the keys to their
own kingdom, they are planning to blow up the bridge to
yours. I exaggerate only a little.'
I finished a doctorate in psychology, hold a state license,
and, according to plan, now have been getting my hands
dirty for about 18 years - composting, developing a herd
of special miniature goats, growing what I can, especially
when I can throw seeds into the compost and have
bodacious watermelons. . .. and tomatoes.
My house is quite large for a single lady.
People who are unhappy with their own lives also don't
like to see a senior single lady doing things herself that
she 'should' need a man to do.
I am still a housewife, goat farmer, scientist studying goat
behavior and have learned to live with imperfection as the
only form of 'perfectness' I can achieve and endure.
That's a small part of how God got me to grow goats and
also occasionally heal people.

Please enjoy her lovely thoughts below.
We think you will find them quite inspiring.
ECSTATIC RELATIONS is
about the invisible love glue
that holds the universe
together, the ecstatic
longing and attraction we
feel towards a person with
whom we have fallen in love.
Here are six true stories
from the life of a woman
who loves frequently and
well, and brief
commentaries on the
universal metaphor that
each story represents.
